Colorize your B&W World

AI to the rescue! Now colorizing black & white archival photos

Colorize your B&W World

If you're like me, my conception of the world before 1960 or so is black and white. Why? It's because color home photography didn't really become affordable until then, so most of our old family photos are grayscale.

We've seen movies colorized, can we affordably colorize our black & white legacy?

The answer is yes! We now have the capability to add color to black & white photos.  It's quick, and affordable.

Some images work better than others. The AI within the machine will guess as to what colors should be, and it's usually pretty realistic. Grass turns green, skies blue. Faces take on believable skin tones. For some reason, cars always come out purple, and sometimes clothing has a multi-hue effect, but that can be corrected manually, as in the suits on the gentlemen below:

We can colorize any black & white image in any format: prints from machine scans, flatbed scans or copystand scans, as well as black & white slides and negatives.
